Recent Selection-
Egyptian American Film Festival (for Cinema and Art) in New York

This film narrates the journey of a young man who leaves behind his family’s traditional Rogan art to seek a stable career in the city. After facing failures, he receives a heartfelt letter from his grandfather urging him to preserve the legacy of their ancestral craft. Returning home, he dedicates himself to reviving the tradition—creating exquisite tapestries and paintings that gain recognition worldwide, even reaching the hands of the President.
I was the Art director of this film and made all the characters , prop develoment , animation sequences and assisted with research, script and editing.
We began by developing the script and visual concept, ensuring the cultural essence of Rogan art was preserved. I designed characters and color palettes that contrasted the urban struggle with the richness of traditional patterns. Storyboards and animatics were created to plan the narrative flow and timing.
The film was animated using a 2D workflow. the Team and I worked on layouts, keyframes, and in-betweens, gradually building smooth motion and expressive character performances. Clean-up and coloring were applied to achieve visual consistency, and the intricate details of Rogan designs were carefully illustrated to highlight their uniqueness.
In the final stage, I helped in editing and composited the animated sequences, ensuring transitions flowed seamlessly. Sound design, voice-over narration, and background music were added to enhance emotional impact. Color correction and subtle effects brought depth and vibrancy to the final piece.
This project reflects both my technical skills and storytelling ability—merging cultural heritage with modern animation techniques to present a meaningful narrative.
